Favorite hangout spot on campus

My favorite hangout spot on campus is the Rhatigan Student Center, where I can see friends and students, see what different groups are doing on campus, get Starbucks and a bite to eat, and shop in the Shocker Store! There's always something going on inside or on the patio!

Advice for future Shockers

Embrace all that is offered while you're on campus. Stretch yourself to get involved in a group or take a class that may be out of your comfort zone or usual interests. I was a communication major, but I joined the Biology Club because they had the best float trips on the weekends and breaks; went on a spring break trip with Student Government Association (SGA) to Washington, D.C.; and traveled with friends to away Shocker basketball games. Some of my favorite memories are from meeting other Shocker students in a class, in a student organization or on a student trip. I loved interacting with students, staff and faculty from different backgrounds and hometowns. It taught me so much about seeing different perspectives and working with other people.
