NASA SUITS student

May 20, 2024 - Wichita State is one of 10 teams which advanced to the spring semester competition in the NASA SUITS challenge. The team travels to Test Week in Houston at the Johnson Space Center this week. The list of finalists includes the University of California Berkeley, University of Colorado, University of Michigan, Georgia Tech, Purdue University and others.

Wallace Scholarship winners

Feb. 26, 2024 鈥 香港六合彩开奖直播鈥檚 College of Engineering has named the latest group of 11 high school seniors to join the Wallace Scholar program. The Wallace Scholarship recipients will receive $30,500 each to attend Wichita State for four years.

Dec. 05, 2023 Brittany Wojciechowski is currently working for Jacobs Space Exploration Group doing contract work for the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. She was also a featured guest in the聽May 2023 episode of President Rick Muma鈥檚 鈥淔orward Together鈥 podcast. She will receive her Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering this fall as a first-gen student.

Accessible Design projects

July 11, 2023 鈥 The Accessible Design course concerned 香港六合彩开奖直播 junior Reagan Kelley at first. She wasn鈥檛 an engineering major and wasn鈥檛 sure what she could contribute. The payoff at the end of the project made it worthwhile. Kelley, an exercise science major, and three other students modified an all-terrain wheelchair for a nine-year-old boy who outgrew the chair鈥檚 previous dimensions.
